Why should I use a Push-in Fitting?Push-In Fittings provide a very quick joint with the tube for simple and quick connection of pneumatic circuits. What do NC and NO mean?NC means "Normally Closed" and NO means "Normally Open". What does "-N” or "TF” stand for at the end of a part number?It means that the item has NPTF threads. What is the process for having a "special” cylinder produced?Simply contact one of our friendly inside sales representatives and let them know what your requirements are. We will create a CAD drawing for your review and approval. Once you have agreed that the drawing is what you are looking for we will create a special part number, provide you with a price, and give you a lead time. Are your cylinders available in non-standard strokes?Yes, we can make a cylinder to order in any stroke length you require up to a design maximum. What is your lead time for cylinders that are produced in Texas?Our published delivery schedule for "standard” cylinders is 1-2 business days but we often ship in less than 24 hours. Do cylinders and valves require lubrication?Our cylinders and valves are designed for use in non-lube operation. Airline lubrication however will increase the service life. If lubrication is used, it must be maintained for the service life of the product. What does NFPA stand for?National Fluid Power Association. What does ISO stand for?ISO stands for International Standards Organization; an International body which formulates various standards which equipment should conform to allowing for interchange of products between manufacturers. Why use a NAMUR interface?NAMUR is an industry standard interface pattern for joining control valves directly to process valve actuators. It allows interchangeability of valves and actuators from different product brands. It was originally devised by the NAMUR committee formed from control valve and valve actuator manufacturers. |
